Dog Ads

For both ads, I wanted to make the dog the dominant piece. It is what conveys the idea of wrinkles to the viewer. the difference between the two ads is the background. I personally favor the first one, that has the background. I think it makes the dog and the words pop more. The one with the white background is a little disappointing. I think an ad like this needs a background to help the ad as much as possible.

Book Layouts

These two layout have completely different aspects going for them. One, I made just as a regular, straightforward chapter starter page; I also inserted a subtle leaf to go with the theme.

The second I added color, and a branch. To have the branch text wrap, I made a custom outline with the pen tool, and added a text wrap to it.

And The Winner Is...

My client, Chelsea Naso, chose this logo for her Krusty Burger company. She liked this one the best because of the colors (mustard, ketchup, the bun). It originally was two dimensional, but I added the 3D effect to add some depth. I can see this as a sign outside of a Krusty Burger (if it was real).
